Hunter Panels Receives Award for Its New Literature Fulfillment Program

Hunter Panels recently received an E-commerce Award of Excellence in the 2008 Print Excellence and Knowledge (PEAK) competition for its literature fulfillment program. The competition attracted more than 250 entries from around the world in 42 categories from four-color, multi-component commercial printing to E-commerce and promotional products.

Hunter's award was given for its innovative literature fulfillment program that is responsible for getting key company collateral to sales representatives, architects, contractors and distributors across the country. Previously, a hand-keyed operator took the literature requests from Hunter's web site and created a new form that was then sent to a fulfillment house that handled shipping all of the necessary materials.

Working with MPX, a full-service printing and promotional products supplier, Hunter's new program features an innovative web form that generates an order in e-Quantum and automatically releases the requested items from a fulfillment warehouse. The individual then receives a personalized email thanking them for their interest in Hunter Panels' products, a confirmation of the shipping method, a summary of the shipping information and the items to be shipped and a tracking number once the items have been shipped.

Additionally, Hunter Panels was provided with an administrative tool that allows them to view, filter and export data from the system at anytime. This information can be used for analysis, future marketing programs, budgeting purposes and a number of other communication initiatives.
